ABOUT US

The Save group was established by Moosa Noorgat in 1987 when he opened Save Cash and Carry in Victoria rd. From humble beginnings in Pietermaritzburg the company grew to one of the largest Cash and Carry businesses in the Natal Midlands.

From 2009 the company expanded into smaller supermarket retail outlets, making their low prices accessible to the everyday consumer. State of the art butcheries, bakeries and kitchens were introduced into these supermarkets. The Save group consists now of 1 Hyper and 5 Supermarkets (Dalton, Howick, Church Street, Brickfield and Newholme)
